NIKITA STUPIN - a Russian-Canadian photographer, PhD certified religion historian, founder of the creative street photography crew "Moustache & Glasses", contemporary art-hunter at ArtConsul and creator of Uncommon Tours. He is an adept of the classical Straight Photography style. Behind the photographer, there are more than 25 exhibitions, both in Russia and North America, including the USA. In addition to international venues, Nikita Stupin's exhibitions have met with success at "Red October," Fotoloft Gallery at The Winery, Artplay gallery, and other art platforms in Moscow.
At the heart of his keen insight and unique approach to works lies not only his talent, but also his degree in the field of clinical psychiatry.
Nikita is a member of the Russian Photo Union and an international organization of photographers called Group 7. He serves as a teacher in the photography faculty at the Institute of Arts Education in Moscow, Toronto Film School in Canada, and MOMMA in Moscow. He is a former member of the international organization Fujifilm X-Photographers and a former ambassador of Fujifilm Europe and RICOH Japan. He is the author of multiple publications on Street photography and the phenomenon of Straight Photography, as well as his own technique of "contactless shooting" for Eye Shot Magazine, Eye Magazine, and Street Photography Magazine.
